I also think many are not punching out until they get officially furloughed, in order to retain that seniority number and recall right. Of course the balance to that is watching others get hired first at the other carriers ahead of the wave. Fun times.
The xj 900 ca's that passed on the flow (about 130 ) are, then there are still about 70 with flow rights. Most of the rest of us will leave if we can. The further down the list the more we are looking to leave. I went from being very picky to sending out resumes to almost any us airline that controls its own flying that will accept a resume. I don't think you will find any of us willing to jump to another regional like some FO's have.

Not surprised their chart is wrong.

450 furloughs. I would say this ends the debate.

I know for a fact the company had two sets of numbers for attrition. The one for staying out of Chapter 11 was about 30 per month. The one for Chapter 11 was much more.
Do you think they'll have a problem getting guys to pick up that time while there are guys on the street?

Nope. Didnt happen during contract negotiations, didnt happen when 30+ Captains got downgraded for no reason. Open time will be picked up irregardless of people being on the street.

No way brother! I'm bailing as soon as a decent alternative presents itself. I know many of us at the low to mid seniority level on the 900 feel that way.

SkyWest Inc is losing money, not XJT. SkyWest chooses to blame everything they can on "merger" costs and so on when it is really their whole business losing money, so by that statement I guess SKYW is doing bad then? Nope

To: ALL-SF3-CA;ALL-SF3-FO Subject: SF3 CA FO 200% Reserve Pick Ups Scheduling is offering 200% for reserve pick ups for both CA and FOs in IAH and IAD Saturday 4/21 and Sunday 4/22. If you are interested in picking up reserve, please call crew scheduling. Thanks.

I loved to pick up open time before. I won't touch it with people on the street.
