From: 7ER B...whatever that means.
Probably because that gate had one of the new monitors. Up until recently, the screens at most gates could not display images so there was no way to pull up your CASS picture so if you were offline, you had to sit in the back.

A RAH pilot cannot occupy the cockpit jumpseat on a CAL a/c - only CAL, XJT, and "CAL Connection" pilots can. These pilots can be verified in CAL's own computer system (by their JA entry) and do not need CASS to fly online.
Any pilot who flys for a CASS airline can get a seat in the back on CAL, assuming there's an open seat back there.
I think BoilerUp was refering to Flight Benefits as opposed to CASS access. As a CAL ramper, I had Flight bennies for myself, spouse(or companion), parents, and dependents @$10 each way domesticly. As a PSA pilot I have the same bennies on the US network gratis.
RAH pilots get flight bennies based on which airline they provide lift for, and only the carrier they provide lift for.

Hopefully they will have this fixed this month so any CASS airline can ride up front.

You are right last month you could fly in the cockpit on CAL or XJT flights, but starting Nov you can not ride in the cockpit anymore. CAL's computer system will not allow you to bring up a picture of the pilot per TSA new rules.

Not true. There is no rhyme or reason as to who gets put where. I had to turn down a Republic class date because I lacked the required cross country time so I got placed at CHQ (I was "a CFI only"). Meanwhile, I was in class where about 50% were prior 121 but still got CHQ with no offer of the 170. The decision on what company you go to is entirely based on company need. Right now, a lot of it is going to CHQ.
