For an average of $100-$130 each FO and about $200+ per captain at the new pay rates, its still not a bad deal. Now when they spin us off, and we cant request upgrades, and even on an A1/A3 cant upgrade or are behind non revs on the upgrade list, then its all crabsalad.

only plus is most times JFK LAX you have a good shot at first class with an international first class service, sitting next to some Celeb.

so let's say we vote no and the judge imposes the term sheet. then we negotiate a new contract after we exit bankruptcy, but how long would that take to negotiate the new contract? i could easily see negotiations taking 5 years. So we could be working under the horrible term sheet for as long as the AIP would have been good for, except we would be making a lot less money with worse work rules under the term sheet than if we would have voted yes. I don't think we will exit bankruptcy and immediately be able to get some great new contract.

It will surely be accomplished in less that the 6/8 years of the AIP. And with the potential of being better than that piece of garbage. AE mgt is responsible, just as AA mgt is, for coming to an agreement w its labor. If they drag *ss and delay, the creditors and judge will step in.

Hmmmmmmm. Did you ever think maybe i was at another carrier for 6 yrs under Pbs. Pbs tries to honor your bid if it can't it won't then comes reserve or nothing you bid for. So now you have two very small pieces of how bad Pbs can be. Feel free to talk about Pbs more. I was was on grievance committee and worked with scheduling committee, so i can continue to tell you how much it will f with you. 7 days of vacation can equal only 12-13 days off for the month if you try to hard.

I turned 7 days of vacation from the end of June / beginning of July into working 14 days out of 61 in the combined 2 months. Yeah PBS is just terrible! It all depends on the system and the rules.
