I've heard about the MIA and DFW base being a possibility, problem is I've also heard that pigs can fly.. not holding my breath.

Cant they replace some eagle flying with a cheaper regional? Don't have a clue how bankruptcy works and getting rid of contracts.

They can buy 9Es which are the newest around...Which can be flown by a cheaper alternative I am sure.

It does if they're replacing some E145's. There is still a market for some 50 seaters. You can tone down the sarcasm.

Bingo. Bye Bye to all Embraers and hello to 140 lightly used CRJ200s.

How about with the Comair 200's, or ExpressJet/SkyWest 200's that are included in the Delta 2-1 deal for ComAir 700 and 900's. SkyWest management even said they were looking for a place for the wholly owned 200's. Seems plausible to me.
