Can you quote it from the TA?? Did you look at the TA?? You sure that it does not have caps on carry over????
I'm sure they also realize not everyone realistically plans to 'blow' all their PTO time on a big get-away. It would suck to come back, break both legs in a car crash, and then have no sick/PTO left. For those who have lots saved, it might mean an extra week or so of VAC. There is a one time reduction of 21hrs contribution to the PTO for 2013, though. Don't know if that applies to a certain seniority, but that right there is a hit. |
And ALPA said pattern bargaining is good...

I cannot quote it, and even so, there'd be nothing I could do about it now. I'm not the only one in this boat. The company would be flirting with a heavy sick-out during the holidays if they f'd with this. I'm pretty sure this was not even on the table.

Do you care to quote the language how your sick time will roll over??? How do you plan on using besides one giant sick call?? Are you sure you will not have caps on your time?
Section 8: Personal Time Off -- Sec II Paragraph A.2 'Upon implementation, all hours in a pilot's regular sick bank will be deposited into the pilot's PTO bank.' |

I'm sure that had nothing to do with the intimidation from the Chief Pilots office:cool: I remember those a wholes would make you stop by the office, pull out the stupid 'book' to record your sick call, and have a round table meeting if you had 4 in a year. Complete nonsense. It's YOUR time, use it or lose it

A lot of tough talk from the no crowd. I think even the no voters wanted this to pass.
