Never claimed to be an "expert" on anything..Atpwannabe is making the claim that standards are never lowered for minorities and I am here to tell you it damn well does happen has happened in the past and continues to happen and not just in aviation either. My grandparents? You will have to go back a hell of a lot farther than them to go back to slavery. A company can hire whoever they want. If they lower the bar, its their bar to lower. Its their assests, they do what they want. Many of my white male classmates are narrow body FO's at L-CAL. MANY of them got gaurd slots, fighter slots, etc and here I am in a lil ole 50 seater slaving away. Am I complaining? NO! Why, because I count my blessings...some of you should too.
