I thought I did offer you something constructive.....door # 2.
If you seriously think that voting in favor of the TA is going to "save" your job and your company, you're naive. Listen to all the posters, this has all been orchastrated by management. History is going to repeat if you vote yes.
Sincerely wish you all the best.

Been there, done that. I've walked that walk at Comair...with a strike and through BK. I did however see the writing on the wall and was fortunate to get out before the music stopped.

Ok, what is it that makes you think you can predict the future? When you guys were losing airplanes and furloughing before you shut down I kept hearing on these forums that Delta had a hard on for Comair because of the strike. Then eventually it was because Comair had only captains and downgraded captains and both were at the top of their respective scale, and they could no longer be cost competitive with so few airplanes. Delta was trying to un-load Comair at the same time as Compass, and Mesaba, but nobody wanted it. Additionally, your contract was no where near GoJets, Compass, or Republics. As much as it sucks, the regional model is changing. And Delta's trying to change it by changing the captain caps to 12 year and the first officer caps to 4 year. We do contract work for Delta. They are going to find the cheapest contracts that make the most for Delta and their share holders. It's just the name of the game when doing contract work for anouther company. Alpa can't do much about it either. They would have had much more leverage if Delta would've had to use all Alpa carriers. Thanks Delta Alpa. And Comair, and Pinnacle wouldn't be in this position if the three airlines I mentioned earlier had better contracts, but they don't. If you were a business man, what would you do? Let someone bully you into paying more than you could get from another carrier? Probably not. You either adapt, or your gone. It's that simple. Now I'll ask you again, other than being bought by Delta, and parking a bunch of airplanes, what are the other similarities? And what makes you think you can predict the future?
I don't need a crystal ball to tell you that those 81 frames will go to someone cheaper.

In two years you will have 81 frames and 500 captains at the very top of the pay scale. You said it yourself it is business and a small company with a very high pay roll isn't good for buisness.
