I know I wouldn't fly a 90 seat jet for $38/hour.
Guess pinnacle pilots are either selling themselves short (and the rest of us) or they aren't worth a livable wage.

And that's the top of the scale. What a disgrace!

FWIW, still higher than Republic and Mesa. Rates nearly mirror the ASA CA rates through year 8. CA rates are .50-.75 below industry average. Capped at year 12 which is 1.20 below industry average.

FO: rates now $25 (industry standard), 33 (1.15 below industry standard), 37 (.05 below industry standard) , and 38.50 (.20 below). Capped at that point. Higher than GJ, Mesa, RP and essentially on par with Eagle.

Vacation got destroyed as well. Most anyone gets this year or next is 2 weeks.

It is a good thing they are in the 76 seat configuration. You can still fly these. Just trying to lighten things up. This day sucks so far.

Skywest is next. It's all part of the new plan to drive down regional costs.

Skywest is contractually obligated to be the second lowest cost operator for Delta, but Delta waived that obligation until EOY 2015:

The Delta Connection Agreements also provide that, beginning with the fifth anniversary of the execution of the agreements (September 8, 2010), Delta has the right to require that certain contractual rates under those agreements shall not exceed the second lowest of all carriers within the Delta Connection program. During the fourth quarter of 2010, SkyWest Airlines and Atlantic Southeast reached an agreement with Delta on contractual rates satisfying the 2010 rate reset provision and the second-lowest rate provision and agreed to rates through December 31, 2015. Delta additionally waived its right to require that the contractual rates payable under the Delta Connection Agreements shall not exceed the second-lowest rates of all carriers within the Delta Connection program through December 31, 2015.

I'm disappointed it passed, but I'm not surprised.......This TA puts more pressure on every other regional. Bottom line is this TA will certainly be bad news for all of us (I'm sure UAL will follow suite ), but it's the nature of this CUT THOAT business, and this is why I suggest EVERYONE try as hard as you can to leave this sector of the industry and fly for an airline that sells its own tickets.

I worked for 9E for 4.5 years got shafted more times than I care to remember by the company and ALPA, I left in October, so I was there and I made a decision to better my position and you all just pulled the rug out from under me again. So if you want sympathy from me it is somewhere between ******* and syphilis in the dictionary.

We get it. If you were in this situation, you would vote no and stick it to the man!
And if the TA passed anyway, you would quit your job and get hired at a major right away and stick it to the man? Nah, probably not...

You would quit and make a lateral move to another regional for less pay and stick it to the man? Nah, probably not unless you're stupid...

You would quit and be unemploymed right before a hiring boom to stick it to the man, because that would really show Richard Anderson what a tough guy you are???

And said actions would do wonders for the rest of the industry because you would have held the bar at a defunct airline. Also, that would leave no other airline for you to whipsawed against. oh, wait...
