It's directed at Saab. You may think that your little rants and "jokes" are just flamebait and people shouldn't take any notice. But the fact is that people do take notice and they'll prejudge anything you say as horse****** now because you continually make yourself out to be an arrogant and ignorant ass.

Please understand that by making a monkey of yourself you also make the rest of ExpressJet look bad for even having someone like you on our books!

I don't know you personally so I won't cast judgement on you, you're probably a very nice fella, but u need to pull your head in.

I've also been reading your posts for the last few weeks since you got hired here and as commented previously in this thread the "holier than thou" attitude has been prevalent. I'm sure you're stoked about your new job but all I ask is that you retain some humility. You'll be doing yourself and all of us at XJT a favor.
Guess we didn't see this coming. We tried to Tell him Aussie.

Hey Saab, I didn't take it as an insult. I work for Airmidwest, yeah its Mesa only slightly more organized.

My brain took over for my other head when I made the decison to come here. You will learn that whether or not anyone pays any attention to 1900 time or not I'll still get to check that box that says PIC Turbine 121 time. I'll be able to roll the dice once I have the PIC time and if I find I need jet time to move on I'll be able to get it here without loosing senority or benefits.

Agreed, for me personally that kinda sacrifice isnt worth the quick 1,000PIC. If the 1,000PIC were like the 100 multi when we were CFIing, I would have stayed at COLGAN. Anyway, no need to argue Happy Thanksgiving

I saw my first gojetters today! It was like going to the zoo...they were huddled together in the far corner of an unused ORD gate area. Their demeanor and furtive rat-like mannerisms spoke volumes...not only are they dirtbags, but they d@mn well know it

im happy in my prop, id stay in it longer but its not getting me up my career ladder at all.

most of us are just playing the game as to how the rules were set up, personally i think we should get rid off all RJ's and have nothing but turboprops for feeder routes like the old days. but again, im just playin the game

I guess I'd better pull my resume from them then! I've been out of the industry for a bit, so pardon the dumb question.

Like Freedom "A" pilots. The Freedom "B" pilots are just as much union guys as anyone else.

Thats awesome rick, did you take any pictures? I would love to a see a gojetter in his natural habitat. Not to say that airline unions are weak (although they kind of are) but I would love to have seen these guys try to pull a stunt like they to an old school bunch of truck freight hauling Teamsters, preferably the west coast ones as they are much more hardcore. Anyways rick if you get a chance take a picture of those guys next time so we can all marvel at a living, breathing human being that seems to have adapted to life without a spine.

While traveling for Thanksgiving this weekend I'd flown into STL and was booked onto a GoJet plane. It was my first time to come in contact with one of their flights. It wasn't bad to be honest, but what I found interesting was that there were no less than five pilots from three different airlines trying to catch a ride with them. They were all treated really well from the GoJet crew. Most were placed in empty seats and a Skywest Captain was riding in the jumpseat.

I would not welcome a gojet guy on my airplane, and by the same token I would not ask them for a ride. I am not going to pretend to be all friendly to get a JS, and then talk sh*t behind their backs. Folks who use their jumpseat should not be two-faced about it, just my opinion.

A FedEx captain and I tried to jumpseat from ORD to STL on GoJet and were denied boarding. There were 15 open seats, but the captain just flat out said no! Needless to say I was kinda mad!

And what company do you work for? I can't say that I blame them if you work for a company that doesn't extend jumpseats to them (such as PSA).

This is exactly why playing "jumpseat wars" is dangerous. Before long, management catches on to the game, and then you have to worry about more jumpseating privileges.
