I know that I am now getting 58 an hour to fly a jet and was hired into it from the street.

And you wonder why Union pilots hate your guts?

By giving them the jumpseat or taking theirs you are validating their position as a "professional" on the same level as you. Call me crazy but I think that every AWAC pilot is a large step above any gojet pilot. Even you.
I promise you that i do not suport what they did. Even though my youth is the only fault you can find in me, it does not make me responsible for "killing" the industry-- hell, i'm not at Mesa... right?

Gojet pilots screwed us all, but whether you like it or not they ARE still human beings. How would you like it if all of the sudden you were held responsible for every shady thing you ever did?... or do you have no skeletons at all in any aspect of your life?

If you're without any blemish in any part of your life, than by all means treat them like the horse **** you believe they are.

As for me... the captain will be making those decisions. (most of which i'm sure will deny the jumpseat to any Gojet pilot.)

$58 an hour for a CA position is a joke.

It's not your youth that is at fault. It's your lack of experiance and inability to see the bigger picture that is killing this industry. Take a few minutes and talk to some of the older Ca's around there about gojets and educate yourself on why they don't deserve our courtesy. And although gojet pilots are human beings, it doesn't mean that I have to treat them like professional pilots. If they want a ride on my airplane they can buy a ticket like any other passenger. I'll gladly treat them like any other human passenger. And even though you are not a Captain yet, you will be someday. So you won't be able to pass the buck to the Captain forever. But as an FO you can still do your part by not riding on them if you have another option.

Scroll back a few posts on this forum and you will see that I was almost sympathetic, or more specific.... I felt sorry for you people. Now after learning much more about your company and the people who fly there, and reading your past two posts. I have come to the conclusion that you and your GJ buddies are $hit. You should be so proud. And I change my answer, all GJ pilots wil be denied any seat if I have any say in the matter.

So...now that commair lost their CRJ 700 to a non-union company( skywest) i don't see any of u kidds making any comments...and where is ALPA...?
You think GJ lowers the standards....well...the standards have been low since ALPA start getting involved with regionals...way back...when most of you still did not know what an airplane looked like and some were not even born yet
What happend to TSA was/is/and will be unfair....BUT......
they did it to AE....it's kind of a payback...

ALPA is the worst thing that happend in the industry.......and guess what...everyone nows it BUT nobody does anything about it.
As far as TSA's MEC....All of you TSA pilots need to thank him for what he did to you....find out his back round...how many times he is been fired and why...and then thank ALPA for choosing him to represent you
THAT's ALPA
ENJOY THEM

Your post is so moronic on so many levels, its hard to choose where to start, but I'll just go for the most obvious target.

MEC officers are elected by the pilot group, not ALPA. ALPA doesn't install anyone in office.

Your bitterness at the fact that you lost your UAL or USAir pension is showing. Perhaps if you had stepped up and volunteered, run for office, and gotten elected things would have been different since you're obviously omniscient.

Of course, you're probably a jetBlue scab now, so your comments are understandable. You're a loser who would sell your soul or cross a picket line to keep an airline job.

Come on, pilottara... Are you still rattling your gayjet sabre???? Get the facts straight... The only firings done were by a company (TSA) who was gunning for him and the entire MEC... A sure sign that the MEC was being effective... Why don't you simmer down, put a few hundred hours in your shiney hojet crj under your belt here in the US, and then start yelling about how its payback, and look at backgrounds, and how ALPA works.... Good line from Metallica... The empty can rattles the most....
