No GoJets in our jumpseats

I promise you that i do not suport what they did. Even though my youth is the only fault you can find in me, it does not make me responsible for "killing" the industry-- hell, i'm not at Mesa... right?
Gojet pilots screwed us all, but whether you like it or not they ARE still human beings. How would you like it if all of the sudden you were held responsible for every shady thing you ever did?... or do you have no skeletons at all in any aspect of your life?
If you're without any blemish in any part of your life, than by all means treat them like the horse **** you believe they are.
As for me... the captain will be making those decisions. (most of which i'm sure will deny the jumpseat to any Gojet pilot.)

I came to work for GJ because of FUKKKKKSSSS like you that started this bar lowering nonsense back in 1999 and no one has had the balls to say no to lousy work rules....lousy pay....and lousy quality of life that every single regional airline pilot has to deal with (horizon exepted). Why have we had to deal with them>?? BECAUSE OF PILOTS LIKE YOU BOILER UP.
Thanks for making me take a job that pays 56 an hour right after IOE instead of 19 an hour.....OH I FEEL SOOOO BAD FOR YOU.
PAYBACK IS A ***** AND YOU ARE ALL GETTING WHAT YOU DESERVE....YOU HAVE SCREWED YOURSELF.

stop blaming others for your choices.
this has to be one of the most hypocritical statements that I have ever read.

My point was simply that we have all done things that we are not too proud of... I certainly have and we should not be so quick to judge others. If we were suddenly brought to justice for everything we thought we had gotten away with, life might be pretty tough (tougher for some more than others). I do believe in being held responsible for our actions, but all of us have had some grace extended to us along the road at some point.
I still DO NOT support what Gojet pilots or any other alterego airlines are doing... I don't even support Mesa pilot contract that they signed off on. Something needs to change!
Don't give them a jumpseat... fine. Just don't pretend that you are any better than anyone else.

The part that most people appear to be missing is that ALL REGIONAL PILOTS are on the same level. Some like to villainize GoJets because of what TSA Management did to TSA. As others have said, TSA did the same thing to AE. And XJT did it to CAL. And SKW is doing it to Delta, AWAC is doing it to USAir, and so on. If you're going to call one pilot group a bunch of lame-o's, you better look at the history and check yourself. Chances are that the proud regional you fly for screwed some mainline guys not to long ago. The only lesson you've learned from the mainline guys is to hate other pilots.
The clencher is this - this is nothing new. It happened in the auto industry in the 80's, it's happening to the computer industry today. It's called outsourcing, and there are many other examples.
People in those industries got mad at each other too, but it didn't get jobs back. Being mad at fellow pilots will not fix the fundamental problem - look around and know your history. As a society of people that overwhelmingly choose the cheapest product, this is the end result... Get over whining and crying at each other and move on to creating a real solution, not one that historically does not work.

Come on, pilottara... Are you still rattling your gayjet sabre???? Get the facts straight... The only firings done were by a company (TSA) who was gunning for him and the entire MEC... A sure sign that the MEC was being effective... Why don't you simmer down, put a few hundred hours in your shiney hojet crj under your belt here in the US, and then start yelling about how its payback, and look at backgrounds, and how ALPA works.... Good line from Metallica... The empty can rattles the most....
