First off, I am not a scab; nor, do I support scabs.
SCAB-(NOUN)
1. Someone who works (or provides workers) during a strike

I think that the def sums this situation up. From what I have read, there was no strike, right? Therefore, GoJet pilots are not scabs. Some of you are saying that GoJets is lowering the bar. I don't know what kind of contract they have; but, their pay scale is pretty damn close to the other regionals. On this forum, the term "SCAB" is used to freely. Let's use the term "SCAB" when it is appropriate.

Go-jets is an alter-ego, not a scab operation. But they are just as bad in spirit, if not the letter of the law. You may have experienced scabs in your career at CAL, but two regional pilot groups have recently watched their jobs and airplanes get taken away by management and given to a group of their peers (often from their own pilot group) who were willing to sell their fellow pilots down the river...

The payscale may not look so bad, but the weak workrules allow the company to save a bundle, the gojetters get fast upgrades, and TSA pilots lose longevity when they get jobs elswhere...

And this differs from the Us Air guys screwing the AW guys...How? AW saved US Air yet US Air guys want DOH for the pilot list... Talk about selling fellow pilots down the river!

Comair...well we all know what is going to happen to them so disregard.

ASA....well we see what is happening to them so disregard.

That leaves Eagle and Horizon....wow two whole airlines are better, but the rest are less.

If I went to work for anyone else, I would be lowering the bar.

Oh and one last thing...we have a TA that is better than our current pay..putting us above everyone but Eagle and Horizon.

If you would have only voted YES.

You have to compare like against like.

Yes XJT captains only make a dollar an hour more in the first year, but we only fly 50 seat jets, completely different and a stupid comparison.

If you read the last thing I wrote, it says,"Not saying that he is, but he sure dosen't know what the hell is going on. I know what a scab is. It is exactly what you defined. I never said GoJets are scabs, but they are something that is in that same category. Just like Eric told you. Lets say CAL management came and said we want to take a pay cut from ya'll. The CAL pilots put there foot down and say NO. Well then CAL management says fine and starts up this new airline on the side and all the CAL pilots watch as these pricks line up to fly for this new airline.

You also say that GoJets makes the same as all the other regionals. They fly 70 seats to what I fly a 50 seat for. Plus read with your glasses on about what I wrote above and what Eric wrote you. Think about that and make your judgement on GoJets. Yes they are not scabs by the dictionary, but what are they.

Just pick up the taxi speed and know a little about something before you start jumping on the regional board and saying ****. I don't get on the major board and start telling you how some Major airline is run or defend some airline that I know nothing about.

I'm sure you'll come back and let out a big ................. It should give you something to do. Whatever you write back I'm done with this whole thing about BLOWJETS.

So tell me then how will your new TA "raise the bar?" What is your 401(k) match? How about work rules? Vacation? Pay is important but it is just one aspect of "the bar."

They will get tired of the GoJet bashing and will start deleting these threads as soon as they pop up.
Did I read this right that your goal is to force the moderators to ban the topic?
