For good reason too, there isn't a whole lot of solid information out there. We aren't ready to vote and I haven't even received a hard copy yet. I'm sure someone will post something when that happens.

My problem is not with the Gojet pilot group. I have said this several times before but the real problem is with TSA management who violated the contract signed by them and the TSA pilot group when Gojet was formed. We seem to keep forgetting that little detail.
As long as we pilots keep blaming another pilot group for something we are doing EXACTLY what management wants.

Getting mad at pilots for taking a job is like getting mad at a dog eating a bone, or customers for going to a cheaper airline. You can get mad all you want, but it's just the way the world works. Instead of focusing discontent to the fellow pilot, one should direct their frustrations towards management.

2)with pilots taking jobs for the crappier non-union wages they are making the reason management doesn't have to change. Therefore getting ****ed at pilots that do it is keeping less people from lowering the stardards for the whole industry. Management sucks and is insulting for offering it, and they suck for accepting it. By them accepting it management does not have to change and won't. So basically the pilot taking the job is not only sticking it to all of those who fought for him to even get the money he's getting now, but he's also sticking it to himself by taking the very power that fights for him away from him. You'd think for someone using such big words he'd have a more universal view of the system.

I understand your point here but I think it is misguided. There were pilots furloughed at Trans States because of a fleet reduction, or elimination I should say, of the J-41s, in coinsident with two EMB-145s being "parked". The EMBs were taken off line because the San Antonio hub flying Hulas went after didn't work out. This has nothing to do with GoJet and neither does the J-41 reduction. If GoJet never existed someone else, not TSA, would be flying the same routes with 70 seaters and the TSA guys would still have been furloughed.
Now, within three months of the first furlough, Trans States was holding a very large, I believe around 30, new hire class. So... there aren't any furloughted Trans States guys.
There are, however, furloughed pilots at most every legacy carrier. We, as regional jet pilots, routinely fly routes that they fly or flew with larger aircraft. So, using your logic, you should be upset at yourself for taking their jobs. I doubt you are. The primary purpose of multiple certificates under one holding company is to circumvent the collective bargaining agreement between major airline pilots and their respective employers, whether the flying is on one seniority list or multiple lists. Is it fair for me to say some Chautauqua pilot is directly responsible for the job loss of American pilots, Delta Pilots, etc.? No.

Personally, I don't even know where to begin with this post. There's no furloughed pilots at TSA? Of course not...the ones that got furloughed told TSA to shove it up their @ss cuz they were at a better company when they got call backs. Not to mention the number of pilots that outright quit after TSA started furloughing. So of course TSA is hiring like crazy...they lost damn near a year worth of pilots.
I'm starting to change my opinion about GoJet pilots...it's gone from "Maybe they didn't know what they were getting into" to "They know what they're doing now...it's wrong...FUK THEM!!"

"Every single one of them" is an overgeneralization and I could just as easily say that every single one of the TSA pilots has put their agenda over that of the GoJet pilots. So, what? When, and if, you voted this past election, it doesn't matter who you voted for, you put your agenda above that of about 50% of America. Does that mean we should all wear Democrat or Republican stickers and turn our noses from each other as we pass?

LMAO!!! Was that a serious comment? This coming from a guy who left Colgan to get on with an airline that is LOSING work. You could have gone to any regional that is known to be expanding, and yet you picked the only one that is getting its lift cut. That is priceless!!! Dude, I seriously hope no one gets furloughed at XJT but thanks for the laugh.
