RAH e-190 F/o's only make $1 more than Skywest E-120 f/o's. Think about for sec before everyone gets so excited.

I could also say, SkyWest CRJ9 FOs make $5 per hour less than Piedmont Dash-8 FO's. FWIW, those E190s that Republic has are going away.

First year pay at every regional is bad, even Horizon...

If you are talking about first year pay then you are correct but, Piedmont's pay doesn't come close to second year pay at SkyWest until year 8!

I was strictly talking about first year pay.

SkyWest has some decent work rules and soft pay. After the first year, their FO pay is probably slightly better than most other places. I believe Air Wisconsin has decent FO pay after the first year as well. It's still not great, just better than some other places. Arguing over who has the best pay at the regional level is like beating a dead horse. No one cares, we all know it sucks.

I was taking about max pay. Max pay for ALL rah f/o's is 37 an hour.

Don't let horizon fool you, they are on 11 bid sessions per year. Colgan had better Q400 rates when they shut down.

You are wrong on the max pay. It is $36.62 an hour!

It's not 11. 365 days divided by 35 day bid periods = 10.42 bids per year. In any case, that doesn't really matter... you'd actually have to run the numbers for min guarantee. Line holder min is 80.3, which works out to 2.29 per day. A normal 75 hours over 31 days is 2.41 hours per day. So a tenth per day... roughly a difference of 3 hours per month. Composite or reserve min is 86.3, and it's not hard to credit more. A few months ago I was consistently over 100 per bid. With the way the min guarantee, number of days per bid, and minimum number of reserve/composite days off per bid (13) is set up... it's all about the same when compared to most other regional airlines that are on a month-to-month bid process. That is, no real "correction" is needed when comparing hourly rates with different airlines due to our jacked-up 35-day bid schedule.*

Colgan's second year pay was over 40 an hour?

*Disclaimer: I'm not playing the "my regional is better than yours" game. This place has at least as many problems as any other regional, and in some ways it has more. I'm just trying to correct some mis-information. I didn't bring it up... Haha.
