And being close friends with a number of people currently and formerly in the hiring department I have heard stories that would make your toes curl. Including one of a former military pilot who only flew jets with centerline thrust and crashed the Baron sim when they failed the engine on him because he didn't understand asymmetrical thrust.
I call bs on your story, BTW the Director of hiring(NA) is back on Reserve next month. Are they done hiring? Hmmmm...... |
They shouldn't have to dumb it down despite the difficulty in finding new applicants.

They can't be too desperate; rejected my app with 8700+ total and 2400 TPIC. I imagine they are afraid us furloughed guys will bail if recalled.

Hey smart guy, the engine failure was given on orders of NA and LH because he had only flown centerline thrust. You can ask NA or LH about it yourself and they will tell you the whole story.

I just asked NA and he said this was BS. |
single engine failures on a hiring evaluation is not the norm but it can happen BUT it is briefed that it will happen and how to respond upfront. if done on the fly then they were just *** holes.
