It's a really bad time at this company right now and most of us are on edge.

Cannot blame you for being on edge. Unfortunately, the drama and side show with CM and IBT has not gotten RAH pilots any closer to getting a new contract. What are your dues money going toward? Your pilot group deserves way more than this!

Yes, they do. Unfortunately CM and company were appointed because so few were willing to step up. It's a difficult and thankless job but I often wonder where things would be if the pilot group would have taken a more active role in their future.

The ad says "chances are" your pilot takes home less than $1000 per month. The average person on the street would probably take that to mean it's somewhere around a 50/50 chance. It's pretty fuzzy wording, aimed to mislead. Like I said, it's verging on libel, and you can't sue for that. I'm sure the lawyers looked it over first.

I'll agree that "chances are" would be incorrect. It seems no matter what, it's constantly a 'spin machine' from all sides involved.

You deserve a heck of a lot better than IBT. Hopefully you are far enough past the scare tactics of two years ago to have the common sense to fire the IBT as your representation. That's the part in this whole mess that I find most frustrating, but I guess it's understandable given the lack of experience that the majority of your pilots probably have with airline union representation. I was in your shoes at one point too (3 unions ago).

I'd like to, and I think since we are 'on-ice' it might be a decent time for it. Not enough agree with me though.
