My question is where will they find sims to get people trained? The sims are so backlogged throughout the world (Yes, the entire world) that it will be hard to get training done unless they start building new sims now.

Watch for the threats of parking airplanes unless we take a hit in Pay Negotiations this fall. Even though we got the planes on order they are going to use them as bait material for concessions.

Yes, they're out there. I remember back around 2005, guys didn't want to go to Colgan or Mesa because they flew turbo props. Now its the 50 seat jet thats frowned upon. I have heard stories from friends at RAH that new hires have rejected class offeres for the ERJ and Q400 becuase they want to fly the E175. Its the only reason they apply there. Its certainly not for the work rules.

Unfortunately, I am serious. I also find it hard to believe that could be true. But if it is, my theory holds true. The cheapest ***** on the block gets the work.

I also don't believe anyone under the VP level knows anything about how much their own companies bid was, let alone how much competing companies bid.
