My question is where will they find sims to get people trained? The sims are so backlogged throughout the world (Yes, the entire world) that it will be hard to get training done unless they start building new sims now.

Those will have to be new sims being built because there are none there right now.

You read what Skippy wrote in his email:

"We have to keep the conversation open about ways we can become and stay competitive – because it will be up to us to decide if these aircraft become replacement flying or new growth"

Watch for the threats of parking airplanes unless we take a hit in Pay Negotiations this fall. Even though we got the planes on order they are going to use them as bait material for concessions.

What's the point of that mindset? I would be perfectly happy staying on my turboprop if it paid as well as the jet. The only reason I'll transition is for a pay raise. You can't beat most of the overnights on the Bro.

But on the off chance you're serious....UAL is not going to give any flying to an "airline" which does not possess an operating cert and has never flown a single RPM
Unfortunately, I am serious. I also find it hard to believe that could be true. But if it is, my theory holds true. The cheapest ***** on the block gets the work.

The rumor I heard that what UAL was asking for rate wise was under all the submitted bids.

I also don't believe anyone under the VP level knows anything about how much their own companies bid was, let alone how much competing companies bid.
