I hope you realize you are going to be working for an ALPA-affiliated carrier eventually. The only good majors to go to right now have ALPA (or had as is the case with USAPA, or wanted a union but not ALPA: APA).

You WILL be with a union carrier. Better get used to 1.9% of your pre-401k compensation helping you out.

We are working just the same we did the day before Skywest bought us. The only change is the low ball CPA that our CEO negotiated.
Funny how you feel it's appropriate to post internal memos for an airline you don't work for and already have misconceptions about. Next time Xjt alpa mec emails you guys an internal memo mind if I post it on here and flightinfo and then spout inaccurate speculative opinions?

This guy comes on here and spouts off a bunch of nonsense and we call him out on it and we're the bullies in a school yard?

This thread has run its course anyway. Ill leave it to others to decide who's being reasonable and what each parties motives are.

I'm sure you're all aware of Eagles Vote which may have sealed their fate. If our airlines accepts "Pinnacle payrates as the new norm" we as a pilot group have positively sealed Eagles fate. Eagle pilots took a stand and now it's our turn to do the same for them. If we collectively say no as a pilot group albeit SKW/XJT, RAH, Air Wisc, PSA ect... We can start gaining back what this profession has already taken from us. The requirements for entry into 121 are higher than ever and we should be compensated as such...

Yes, please do! I would be more than happy to give you my opinion to those as well. By the way, I never said anything inaccurate about the SAPA update.

I don't think you are getting the bigger picture he is talking about. But it doesn't surprise me some of you guys just don't get this industry. Ignorance is not an excuse though after you've been around for some time.

Well, Skywest pilots are supposed to get whatever 401k matching, health benefits, and scope that we get. Sure makes it harder for us to negotiate any improvements there when we are being anchored by 3000 other pilots who are not contributing.

Does that analogy help any of you guys get it now?

Not contributing? Our 3000 pilots have been keeping you all afloat and out of CH7. Remember, we're not the ones consistently in the red my friend.

Sure, it was 3000 pilots who decided to buy XJT holdings.

Do you honestly believe that it would take more negotiating leverage to keep our 401k matching, health benefits, and scope, much less to improve on those, when it we are not negotiating just for our 4500 dues paying pilots? Remember, it is your student council who approved tying this anchor to our negotiations. So an emphatic YES, you are NOT contributing to the cause and that eagle drew the line on. Thanks for nothing! And thrice again, you are welcome for ASAP.

Do you think it's JA and St George flying airplanes creating revenue? It's the pilot group. Again, you're welcome that you didn't go Ch7

No. Do you think that they made the decision to buy XJT because of the specific identities of the 3000 pilots? Nope, they would have made decision regardless of you pilots think. You are delusional if you think they made that decision because they feel the 3000 individual pilots allowed them to. The kool aid must be a lot stronger than I thought. Anyway, CAL wouldnt have let us go out of business. That is not a secret and its been known.

And why did you not answer my questions?

Your welcome for CASS.
