Maybe those same basic reading skills, or lack there of, are why you waste energy hating people you don't know? Like I said, it'd be miserable to live with such a repulsive attitude and such a lack of basic reading comprehension skills. Stay classy!
Let see, absolute bottom of the list: child molesters, followed by snitches, then gheyjhetters I don't waste any energy hating you or your ilk, it isn't worth the effort. My attitude is fine unless you are a GheyJetter, then its like scraping the stuff littering the dogpark off my shoe. Annoying, but somewhat entertaining, watching some one with low self esteem squirm. Dont forget to turn that ID around and hang UAL crew tags on everything you own. While you might be pretty tough with a keyboard, you are the same looser that got stuffed into your locker in High School locker. I see you guys scurrying through airports looking like a child molester on the first day of prison. Don't worry, get on at UAL DAL, AA or whatever airline might need pliant, doughy, cretins that will take any thing hulas could dish out. Hows that cancellation policy thing working for you? It must be tough being at the bottom of the Hulian food chain. |

I would not be super surprised to read garbage like this from a brand new FO. But for a Captain, if you really are one, and I have my doubts about that. For a Captain to be so grossly unprofessional and immature on an open internet forum is just shocking. I really am concerned about your decision making ability from the left seat if you make these decisions under the false premise of anonymity. You sir are a disgrace to your company. The industry. And your pilot group. |

Your true colors are showing, you can't sling/trade insults with a daydrinking gheyjhett disliking forum member, so you resort to just being offensive. You represent your group admirably. Seems my observations are spot on, only the dregs of society make fun of people with disabilities. Keeponkeepingon! |

I assume you think you should make more? So that would mean that what you are saying is that it's okay for you to work for sub par wages but it is not okay for me to because in your opinion you work for slightly less bad wages? Did I miss something? I worked corporate and made more there than any regional pays. When they sold the airplanes and closed our flight department I did my "homework", and didn't even consider working for any of the Hulas or JO owned and operated outfits based on their treatment of employees. Yes, I think all regional pilots should make more, and as long as the bottom feeders continue their ability to staff, raises at the better/good regionals will be harder to come by. |

It's sad that you are hiding behind "day drinking" for your posts. Are you seriously trying to make a point about a picture that makes fun of people with handicaps while making fun of homosexual people in the same post? By using your own standards, allow me to tell you how you represent your pilot group in your own words "You represent your group admirably.

Here ya go: ww.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ghey "a derivation of gay meaning lame. meant to be non-offensive to individuals of a homosexual persuasion" "That coffee cup is broken. How ghey." If you are offended......see your posted picture and recheck your sensitivities. While Urban Dictionary isn't Websters, it's all I had at the time. Next? |

I agree with a lot of the theory. I'm just telling you, that thought has been the popular thinking since deregulation and what have the results been? For results we have to change the whole structure of the union system. Then it will change. I have what I think will work layed out. But there has to be one list and one group (Almost like a union). Fighting amongst regional guys will keep the system just like it is now. The proof is in the history. |
I seriously don't see why it's so hard for some people to understand why BlowJet is so hated upon by others. It's actually really simple........
The sole reason for BlowJet's existence is/was to screw over another pilot group by circumventing their union and creating an alter ego airline with sub standard pay rates, and work rules. That is the ONLY reason why GoJet airlines exists, period. and YES even though you may like to think it's ancient history, YOU, by choosing to work there, are actively and explicitly complicit in condoning the actions taken to screw over TSA pilots and the rest of the industry. Furthermore, anybody willing to accept a job at BlowJet is an active participant in lowering the acceptable standards of pay, working conditions, and quality of life FOR ALL US airline pilots. you can say all you want that all regional suck, and that regionals are not meant to be a long term career choice. Yes, you are right, fine, but that completely misses the point. That doesn't mean it's OK for you and your airline to lower the bar, just because you want to fly a shiny CRJ 700 and chase a quick upgrade. |

All I'm asking is to look at the results of your theory so far. They will not work under the current structure of the regionals. Trying to lay the blame on one or two pilot groups just isn't the way to fix it. The "Moral" Ima git on my high horse and tell everyone who they should work for while I accept what I got and wont lift a finger to change anything" will not and has not and never will work.
I agree with a lot of the theory. I'm just telling you, that thought has been the popular thinking since deregulation and what have the results been? Fighting amongst regional guys will keep the system just like it is now. The proof is in the history. What don't you get??? The "theory" starts to work when the bottom feeders can't staff. Yet the Mesa, Gojet, etc. cheerleaders keep encouraging everyone to come and work for those same bottom feeders. If the worst and lowest paid carriers can't staff, they will have to improve their pay and benefits. This will finally allow an upward trend, instead of continually downward pressure on benefits and wages. This isn't "fighting amongst regional guys", it's a common sense solution that can and will work. It's a lot more likely to happen than "one list and one group". It is already happening at Great Lakes, and Sliver. Lakes is trying to get around the poor pay and benefits with their 135 end run. |

My opinion of Eagle? I applaud them, they are making a stand. It's called integrity, and pride, both of which are sorely missing not only among pilots, but the world in general. Yah, they may be fighting a loosing battle (thanks in part to airlines like BlowJet and PSA), but at least they are standing up for themselves (and the rest of the regional pilot industry). Again, it's called integrity. I would gladly buy any Eagle pilot a drink any time. I know you like to keep beating the drum that all regional pilots are under paid, and therefore, so what? what's the difference? The difference is, BlowJet is at the bottom of the barrel, and therefore YOU put downward pressure on the rest of the industry. But again, I know that doesn't matter to people like you, because all you care about is getting your time, getting the quick upgrade and getting out to a major. The broader, and longer term implications to this industry and career don't matter to people like you one bit. |

My opinion of Eagle? I applaud them, they are making a stand. It's called integrity, and pride, both of which are sorely missing not only among pilots, but the world in general... blah blah blah . My next point is Mesa and their whipsaw that got pulled back. What's your opinion of them? Sure, it's conjecture at this point but Mesa got their airplanes back and they still suck. (To the other poster) What don't I get? I believe the question is why do you refuse to "get" that throughout history people went were they thought best. Everyone has been "educating" till they're blue in the face and what progress has that theory made? Ever? Any progress what-so-ever? Like I said, I agree with the thoughts in theory but when one looks at the results thus far there have been none. So I ask you, what don't YOU get? Why do you disagree with having one regional group to represent everyone? Sure it'd be hard to get going! You guys have been happily getting fleeced forever and you still don't question it? ...and I'm the dumb one here huh? |

I never said that I disagree with having one regional group to represent everyone! I do believe that the odds of that happening are very slim, and management would fight that tooth and nail. Whereas, if pilots would stop signing on with the bottom feeders(and cheerleaders there would stop encouraging them), JO, Hulas and other regional CEO's would have no choice but to increase pay and benefits to crew their aircraft! It's basic economics, capitalism 101. Get it now??? |
The new Chief Pilot didn't last very long over there.
With the old Chief pilot back on the line every FO that is assigned to fly with him should call in sick. |
First Post
I am amazed at what I read on this thread. I too am a GoJet pilot and have had no problems jumpseating and have never been disrespected. If you believe everything you read on the internet, I'm a French Model! :D Bonjour.
