Rah will not grow. No regional will be able to grow. They soon are going to be part of the shrinking regionals like everybody else.
Yep, losing 27 airframes from CHQ. At least those 175s will be staffed now

Didn't make it through the interview, huh ? This is you:

"I read this and thought maybe I posted something in my sleep last night. I too wont be able to interview untill Sept, and I currently live near SDF. But all the hiring I've heard has been on the Republic/Shuttle so far. Also, someone mentioned new planes for CQH any truth to that rumor?"

Now,I'M laughing ! If it is so bad,why did you want to work there ?

2 dif things, I wanted to live in base. It would be silly to go to any regional with HOPES that you would get a better contract. Just look at Great Lakes and RAH as the best two examples of why the RLA will continue to screw pilots for years to come.

My point is that if you were counting on a new contract as part of the reason for going to ANY airline.....you haven't been paying attention the last 5-10yrs. And the newer point is that grow with go anywhere where the labor is cheap, since RAH went from +45 170s to -2 145s.

But I don't get your point, I can see you laughing at my sarcasm but that's about it. (Keep telling ppl internet needs a sarcasm font)

25 175s to go for american. We just reduced the 145 by 27 planes. American 175 staffing is 100% solved.

Maybe...Maybe not:

"Suffice to say we want to close out the negotiations with a fair deal and, when that happens, if it allows us to hire more pilots such that we could staff more aircraft, of course we will discuss adding these small jets back to service with our airline partners."

Meaning if the 145 rates stay favorable AND attract enough pilots, they may forestall parking them. For a while, anyway.

Just a carrot to try to get you guys to vote in a crap TA on the off chance maybe they'll bring more airplanes back.

you really think they aren't going to exercise the option for the 45 more? Maybe not all of them but I'm willing to wager a good amount of those will come if we are able to start pulling from the bottom of other lists.
