I'm with you. No lateral moves for me. Up or out!

Amen Chupa! As an ASA/XJT'er, I can tell you a lot of 10+ year guys/gals had had enough and voted no (along with just about everyone else). Whatever happens with our respective carriers, this sends a message to our mainline partners that they can't keep putting up bids for flying expecting to pay peanuts.

Way to go Eagle!

I never thought the merger was a good idea. The labor strife alone caused by USAPA is going to take years to untangle. The merged entity didn't gain any presence in Asia which is where most of the growth is, and it essentially became more domestic heavy which Southwest dominates anyway. I know AA absolutely hated the AMR management team but honestly I'd rather stick with the devil I do know, than the devil I don't.

I'm interested by the silence today, I figured AAG would for sure announce some of the contract awards for the 175s.

That's because those 175's are going to Eagle. They can only go so far in what lies they announce to the media and public while regrouping to go back to negotiations with the union.

They may be waiting for the RAH vote to be announced first as well.

Let the fun begin. The vacancy bid with several captain upgrades has been canceled.

Management playing their games.

If there is to be a reduction in flying why is that playing games? What advantage is it to "play a game" AFTER the vote? Perhaps, just perhaps the outcome is going to be elimination of envoy.
