What makes them any different from any regular non-aviation business traveler getting KCM? They only ever use it for travel between airports on always paid tickets. They’re not in CASS. They don’t have jumpseat agreements or non-rev privileges. They get into a car at the airport and drive to an FBO. There’s no TSA at Signature/Atlantic. Their travel guidelines are different.

When I was doing scheduled 135 at JSX I was a commuter and jumpseated often to commute. I always treated excellently and many were not aware that JSX will take anyone in CASS with or without a reciprocal. The question of "what's in it for us" often came up, and many times just mentioning the word "Vegas" would answer it, at least for those that live in California, Arizona, and Texas.
On-demand 135 is more difficult. I tried snagging the elusive empty leg a couple of times, but it's difficult. Itineraries change and instead of going empty to TEB all of a sudden you're off to OPF, the empty leg becomes a quick repo to pick up a live charter that was just sold, the 9 AM departure becomes 4 PM. It's too fluid to rely on, and partially the reason the many companies like Jet Smarter that tried to capitalize on selling empty legs went belly up in a short amount of time. I like the initiative but don't really see a way of making it reliable.

Congratulations they’ve gone through background checks. What does that have to do with going through a crew entrance at a place they’ll never work? KCM and CASS have no relation. Answer me this then: why do you think Netjets should have KCM?

The point is that a known crew member is a known crew member to the government. You have fully illustrated your scope of understanding is it’s a short line perk into your workspace. Whoo-hoo!
