That's the thing is I'm definitely not excited about us potentially gaining airplanes while another company shrinks. That being said, the pilot group here isn't voting on this decision nor are we voting in a concessionary contract to specifically undercut Endeavor, so I don't know what else to say other than, if this deal really happens, I'm sorry to see Endeavor lose planes while AWAC picks them up.

Do endeavor guys even care? This is a direct result of them not being able to staff after getting hosed in bankruptcy. Awac is at an advantage to staff due to their contract, which proves taking concessions to undercut another group isn't necessary.

What's even funnier is the excitement to get into bed with Delta. Delta does not treat their contract partners well

Delta has some sort of agreement with SkyWest that will allow them to reset their rates based on 9E's cost structure. So instead of paying the 9E guys more, they are using AWAC to work the flying 9E can't do right now. My guess is, it's a short term deal that cost more initally, but over the long term will pay off swimmingly by reducing SkyWest's rates significantly.

AWAC is but a pawn in their game. Not a big deal, I'd rather be a pawn then sitting on the sidelines at this point. Just don't get comfy.

Duh, Ya we frikken care. All Delta has to do is do the right thing and give something back to slow attrition and atract new hires. Oh, and maybe change their interview. H$ll, we already fly Delta passengers the "Delta" way, but they'd rather give it to a totally new airline (new to the Delta system) and probably at a higher cost. So ya we care. And your comment about taking concessions would be more appreciate for PSA, not a bankruptcy contract

I don't think many pilots at Endeavor give a rats A$$ who flys the 200s, nobody even talks about it. As a pilot group we have been beat down ever since the NWA/Delta merger, morale is at an all time low. We have lost 65 pilots just this month alone. I look forward to another regional joining the beat down party. If it was up to me, I would give the 200s and 900s to Air Whiskey immediately.

9E pilots are too busy filling out apps, and preparing for interviews to have time to care. Although, if you ask me, the jets belong here:
