Agreed. That would be a good idea.

American/US Airways have a huge operation at DCA. Been hearing a lot about DCA but haven't heard anything about DFW.

I'm an envoy pilot, but have nothing bad to say about the guys and girls at TSA. I can only hope people don't make lateral moves and keep the regional churn cycle going.

Now, PSA on the other hand? Absolute dirt bags...but that's for another thread...

Didn't need to, TSA pay is already below those who have lost the flying. Hulas won't be able to staff and that flying will be lost again to companies that will only fly them at a profit. True, TSA flies at a profit, but only because the pilots cost less between pay and benefits.

Once again, if you're looking at the pay scale posted on APC profiles...you need to factor in the terms of the contract before making a stupid statement like this. Anybody thinking of coming to Trans States needs to talk to a TS pilot, not some random poster trying to spoil everything.

Again with the economics of this business incase you've missed it.. Pilot pay and benefits are just a small part of the equation when talking about a company.. We have very little overhead, office space, hangar space, less office staff, fuel cost... Etc, etc. This is why we can fly the same airplanes at a profit. We are a private company that is very smart with money, our pilots do not cost less, our overhead, operating cost and management cost do..

I can make a podcast so you can listen to it if you like..

Don't know who's payscale your looking at. If I were at ExpressJet I'd have to take a pay CUT ($66.93 to $65).

What are your work rules? Min day pay? 401k, insurance costs, sick time, LTD.

You all speak of your low overhead costs, well if you are doubling your fleet they will be increased accordingly. All regional companies are banking on pilots jumping from seniority list to the next. Thus I my paying first years wages.

Once agai. We pilots play checkers while mgmt plays Chess at Kasparov.
