This is why I read these boards, for laughs like this.
ONE plane is getting parked due to the lower demand season (Jan/Feb), like the lighter schedule every other air carrier out there has this time of year. A good number of the 'parked' 145s have been brought OUT of the desert, now THATS a fact.

If so, that, by no stretch of the imagination means that the 145s are long for this world, in fact, the company's lack of investment in MX required to keep them flying would be a strong indication that RJET's 145 are going the way of the Dodo, and possibly faster than previously stated.
Your condescension may very well be misplaced if this is, in fact, the case. Perhaps a tad more respect can be shown in the future?

Aren't they only doing that to replace aircraft that are up against heavy checks with ones that aren't?

For example, there is a school house rumor that Bedford believes he will be able to staff ADDITIONAL 145 flying once a TA is reached..........so just because this is being passed around should we sound the alarm that upgrades are going to fall to under 2 years at RAH with all this new flying? No, of course not. It's just as silly as saying the 145 is done because there is one less aircraft line in Jan.

That's my point. The only thing that's KNOWN is planes are being pulled from the desert, any reason for it is purely speculation. (or in this case rumor) You "COULD" be correct, and I won't even bet against you. This is about taking one piece of info and running wild with it, all chickenlittle style.

The problem is that a TA won't turn the place around....and neither will this "shiny beads and shallow flattery" method of culture change.
