Default PRIA Question

Hello folks, I have flown for 4 airlines and the fifth airline I was at for only one week..I had to resign due to family circumstances and the airline told me I was welcome back at a later date if I wished to return..Now the question is...do I list the 5th airline in my employment history even though I was there only a week? Or do I leave it off my future employers apps? In a nutshell, will my fifth airline appear when doing the PRIA stuff for a new employer? I don't mind listing the airline but was curious about the answer whether to list or not since I was there only a week...Thanks for any info

I'm fairly confident that you should still list that previous employer on your PRIA records. It's better to explain what happened on your terms instead of someone finding out and thinking you're hiding something.

edit: assuming that you were with that airline within the previous 5 years.

Don't know 100%, my situation was perhaps similar where I accepted a 135 job and a couple weeks during training I decided to discontinue the training process. I was just recently hired at a regional and I did not disclose the company because I was still a trainee and not yet qualified or have yet to take the type checks. Nothing has happened...I technically never worked for them. However wouldn't hurt, all it would take it's an extra PRIA request form to be sent. No harm...

Thanks for the response guys...I guess it's safer just to list them for the PRIA stuff and just explain it during the interview..

If there is a question as to whether or not you should do something with respect to PRIA and employers (especially airlines) in general, always do the most conservative thing. There is no reason to be thought of as someone who can't be truthful on their application. Is it a big deal that you worked for someone and because of extenuating circumstances you left? Absolutely not (provided that it's not a pattern of course). Is it a big deal if you don't list something and they find out about it? Absolutely.

List the employer.

Did you do a drug test for that company and was it within 5 years?

I had a similar situation.....I left ground school for personal reasons during sims...didn't fail anything (135 caravan op), BUT I returned to finish training 5 months later. I didn't disclose I left unless specifically asked on a app. This is ok correct?
