This is the biggest hiring boom the US is going to see for a very long long time. I could see 5 years ago going to Copa, but why would a newbie want to do this today? I mean really, why not just go to a growing jet regional like PSA, TSA, etc.. and be a Captain in a year? For 737 time that the airlines are not going to care about at all during this hiring boom over the next few years?
My opinion is it would be a mistake to do this in this day and time. Unless you have a really valid reason like you are from Panama or something.

NOT Particularly want to live down there but
Japanese and korean airlines want just 500 on type and they have great benefits and QOL even with the seniority
Europe is outta question without JAA license
American - there is no room for advancement within the majors
Soo it's either dealing with regionals or like Copa
What's ur take on it? Or am I missing something?
