I agree that there wasn't a threat, and the FA overreacted. I was just pointing out that Islam doesn't exactly have the best track record with the rest of the general population and you can't blame people for reacting that way.

I agree. The greatest threat of terrorism right now is Muslim extremism and more specifically ISIS. I just don't think the reaction should be to condemn every Muslim based on this.

I don't usually bother responding to any sort of religious crap, but I gotta chime in. Have you not looked at a newspaper or looked at any reputable news site lately? There's little group currently rampaging across the Middle East right now beheading and burning anyone in their way. I guess forcibly collecting concubines along the way too is perfectly acceptable according to the intergalactic religion of interstellar peace. I'm not picking on Islam and their fanatics. I hate all organized religion.

None of us will ever know what the real story is. I'm sure a dimwitted FA said something stupid, then the story took off from there. This will all go away once she gets her nice financial settlement from United.

20 and none in a decade? Where have you been the last 10 years? Perhaps you need a reality check.... Take a trip over to liveleak and search muslim. Prepare to have your mind blown...

This woman isn't going around and condemning the violence of HER people, therefor I feel nothing for her and her predicament. Besides, I think she is embellishing, if not outright lying, about the story.
