I don't mean to imply that DP is a moron I realize you don't get into his position by being an idiot. However many intelligent businessmen have been undone by their failure to react to the changing environment. DP is still acting like he is reading from the strike busters almanac. Which was a fine business philosophy up until last year. In the current environment tough talk and threats don't work.

Keeping labor cheap and miserable works great for returning a quarterly profit. Right up to the point where it doesn't, at that point it takes nearly twice as much money to rebuild be trust and work ethic you destroyed by abusing your work force. The only conceivable benefit to that method is a planned retirement of the guy making the decision. I.e. Dougie walks out with millions and leaves a dookie on AAGs doorstep

94? That's more than mainline. Surprised they can get that many.

They've been recruiting that many for a while now.. Plan is for 60 or so CRJ new hires a month and about 40 ERJ new hires.

Internal memos indicated roughly 40 a month.

However, how many actually end up staying on the seniority list after two months is well well well south of said figure.
