Would industry standard pay and benefits be enough?

He will just file ch 11 again when too many people leave and try and restart the cycle. If that happens again it go ch 9 and adios!!

Anyone who thinks Mesa is a good place to work needs to seriously raise their standards. I worked there for six years and the positive thing about Mesa is that the pilot group is a bunch of great people. They have character from being abused so much. The management at Mesa is appalling. It is too bad pilots go there with out knowing or not caring about the past regarding Freedom and Ornstein's other antics. Past behavior is a good predictor of future behavior. JO was convicted of securities fraud!!! Go there if you must but do a little research first to understand what you are getting yourself in to.

Here is an online evaluation of compensation across the regionals for anyone who is interested. If you need any info feel free to either PM me here or sign up on the website. Been in aviation for awhile now. Just trying to give a little back.

Regional Pilot Job Pay Comparator ? RPJ ? Regional Pilot Job

Lots of assumptions in your calculations which, to be fair, you do admit to. I'm curious what the comparative tables would show without including any bonuses which can be canceled anytime. Also if major note is overall work rules such as trip and duty rigs of which envoy has none. Generally speaking these types of bonuses are great for new hires but tend to ignore the rest of the pilot group, so what happens at year 3,4,5, when the bonuses are gone?

Currently, envoy's most junior Captain = 8.5 years. Most junior flow through = 16+ years. Recent announcement is strictly bait to attract new hires.

Reserve life at envoy sucks. Hard line-holder at envoy also sucks. Mostly non-commutable 4-day trips with 11 days off a month. No duty or trip rigs.

Horrible quality of life at envoy right now. I'd seek elsewhere.

Bumping this up....

It would be great to get another pulse across the Regionals - specifically the WO after the improved pay...

C5 has been about 30 a month, which for us is maxed out.

$350K for your 1st 5 years at 9E. Good to see that the pay has come up so much. Lots of butt hurt for ShyGuy and Alaska.

ExpressJet claims they are hiring 40 a month, but they only have 30 in the classes at the most.
