Emp#s from 538XX to 544XX range. Failure rate is astounding......if they failed out. I like to think that they found better employment at a ranch grass strip out in the country instructing flight test students in cutting edge experimental jet powered aircraft......

If Skywest is still hiring and training 100 a month that's only a 16% fail rate. Not too horrible IMO

So much for a pilot shortage. The flight schools at the university level at the least are still very much full, and those pilots are still being employed by the top-notch regionals such as SkyWest, Compass and Endeavor.

Just knock yourself in the face, repeatedly, with the claw side of a hammer. You'll get that magical feeling of working for RAH without having to actually go interview and stuff.

There's plenty of pilots out there. Skywest alone gets 100 new hires per month.

Very common in today's industry. These aren't failures, they are people leaving. Many people have several interviews with their top 3 or more and will accept the first offer they are given and when offered their first choice they will either leave class or not show up for it in the first place. This is even happening at the majors right now.

What is it about Republics future that makes you and your friend nervous?

35-40 per month sounds like movement & staffing and that people aren't worried.

DELTA & UNITED signed long-term deals. FFD contracts w/ Major partners have been amended to include the new pilot contract and compensation plan.

RJET will be more profitable exiting BK due to its restructuring according the interweb. Its OTC (over the counter) stock is making day-traders a lot of money. Its actually remarkable stock growth these past few weeks. I wonder why that is.

When the company exit BK the stock becomes worthless. Very typical for a company stock in BK to to have wild daily swings. I wouldn't buy the stock as it will be worthless in the near future.
