The focus has been 1) Receiving our IPads and setting up about 5-6 different applications related to the company. 2) Briefly going through some of the company manuals (Certainly special emphasis on the Flight Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures). 3) Human Resources training to include: harassment, safety, diversity and security training. 4) Meet and greet with a lot of managers and having them lay out expectations for the rest of training.
During our next three week break we aren’t assigned any official homework, however we have been advised that reading through the FOM and SOP manuals were a good idea. Also, limitations and memory items.
You aren’t expected to know anything coming into Indoc, but if you wanted to get started then all of the items you listed would be great!

FYI, most of these replies are from guys asking silly questions to mess with you. I suspect they’re having a little fun with the fact that you’ve just started and are offering your “expertise” to the masses. All in good fun though... I know your real intent was to pass info along to others who haven’t started class yet, which is great. But you inadvertently opened the door for a little comedy at the same time 😉

To answer the second part, the third day of Indoc is a full day, and they schedule you for a flight out the next morning. That said, multiple people, myself included, successfully stood by for a flight that evening and got home. You should wrap up around 4:30, leaving plenty of time to get an Uber and make a 6:00+ flight.
