Rumor is 50-80 new hires per month for the rest of the year starting in May or June.

So should I not expect to hear anything back until class dates start back up? Seems odd that I haven't even get an acknowledgement other than the automated response to my app.

For new hires I heard 40 in June and 20 per month the rest of the year. This was from a CKA I just came off a trip with.

Guess I'll just check back in on WorkDay and my E-Mail every so often till then. Thanks

Standard for airline applications

Unfortunately, communication with candidates before they are actually hired seems to be one of our bigger weaknesses. It may have to do with the turnover in the "talent acquisition" group. Once hired, it will improve.

Hello folks in the know.

Got the, “Are you still interested” email/form about 3-4 weeks ago. Filled it out and nothing back yet. Have a few CJO’s but was looking at Republic due to the live in base option.
Any information appreciated.

What are your stats? They are fishing for candidates within 500 hours of Part 121 upgrade. If you are not within that you probably will not get back a response.

Thank you for the input, I should have mentioned that I already had my Republic interview/technical test about 2 months prior to the stated email, asking if I was still interested.

They are working through the list. I know someone who got a phone call offering an updated class date (which he declined because he went elsewhere). If you are set on Republic, you're gonna just have to be patient or maybe try an email to your recruiter. Rumor is classes will *slowly* be starting back up in June. Current numbers still show a +200 FO imbalance.
