How many people were in the class? New hires vs upgrades.

There are only 8 of us on the Shuttle side. We are all newbies. A Republic class started yesterday as well and it's a lot bigger, maybe 25 or so. Both are 170 classes and no real word on bases yet.

They have different indoc classes for each certificate? That's the way eagle was between the Executive (ATR) certificate and the Eagle certificate. I was hoping Republic wasn't like that.

they are entirely different airlines and operate the exact same airplane differently!

They each have their own manuals and POI and they operate out of different FSDO's so yea they have different indoc classes.

Ummm, yes...and no. Each carrier has its own FAA Operators Certificate and POI and manuals, but All with the IND FSDO. There is a consolidation group working on streamlining the manuals for all three certificates. Republic's (RW) FOM will be the format.
