The airplane is delayed 2 years, there is no payscale for it.. You want us to predict 2 years down the road?

Well good luck. You'll probably get to drive to work for a while then you'll be back to commuting when the base closes or is "realigned". They've opened/closed/displaced into/out of 17 bases since our CBA became ammendable.

I really feel bad for Bombardier. We have the biggest order and nowhere to deploy them. Our management team is lucky to have jobs after the F9/YX debacle gutted shareholder equity. IMHO, shareholders will not tolerate further destruction, nor do we have the funds to start our own airline with those C-series. Not to mention management's inability to run a branded airline.

Expect those c-series orders to be traded or sold off.

Thump & Seattle, thanks for the info! Seattle that would be AMAZING if you could predict 2 years from now and let me know which airlines I should really be focusing my employment search on (besides the legacies), but something tells me you were only kidding

Shuttle America announced ATL base closure today effective March 2, 2014. Pilots won't even get to bid what their seniority can hold. Will instead be shuffled to LGA and ORD. Thanks Muffin for signing an LOA with the company... So much for no waivers no favors.

HA we have never been able to bid where our seniority could hold. I have been involved in 3 base closures and I was never allowed to go where my seniority could hold. Only could go where they had vacancies. NOTHING NEW HERE. The RAH way not giving a crap about seniority and their special " displacement vacancies" every time a base closes.

Yeah you need to REREAD the blast email IN ITS ENTIRETY.... you sorta skipped over that "voted in" part. It can still be turned down. But that's OK, you just wanted your chance to talk smack.

Could someone please explain why Craig Moffit is often called "The Muffin Man"? Is it because he enjoys munching on muffins, is shaped like a muffin? Could it be due to his last name starting with an M and having two F's in it? I know he used to fly in the USAF...Was this his old nickname/handle when he was flying for Uncle Sam?
