CMH based FO here. I am on reserve because FLICA can't give me a line with the parameters I want. Since some of the AA birds were parked I've had between 17 and 20 days total at home each month. 75 hours pay of course. As a previous poster said, this will change drastically with the integration of the Shuttle certificate flying and the re-introduction of some of the airplanes that were parked. I'm a Q4 2015 hire.

yup, once December comes around alot of us will be knocked back down to reserve. It will probably stay like that for a while too, doesn't seem like these 04' and later hires want to go anywhere anytime soon..

Do you think this stupid thing that gives you $25 is better than the retention bonus that PSA, envoy just announced ?

There are so many thing that we have no control over that those metrics can suffer and you will get zero dollars.
Not exactly the Koolaid drinking young pup you make me out to be but whatever. My point was the possibility for $900 is a whole lot better than the $200 holiday charity stipend we had been getting. The executives are going to continue to get their money either way, that's just how this works.

And if we again fall behind PSA so what? We will just be right back where we were a year ago, waiting for our savior BB to bs his way through another solution.

Don't forget that it is a "$200 holiday charity stipend" AND a turkey sandwich

And let me guess (only if we're stereotyping here), you're the crusty ******* that has been here since 2002?

I'm not sure what the name is but I was told it was north of Indianapolis.

Oh the new bonus isn't about retention. It's insurance to ensure management gets their bonus. I don't expect a Envoy or Endeavor type retention bonus at Republic. Our pay rates are enough for now, and they can still offer bonuses to new hires. Besides most of the lifers will never leave this place, and BB knows it.
