Pretty good since they gave up the leases on 17 legacy USAIR 170/175's so far in chap 11...

They were some of the oldest birds.

What aircraft are based in SDF? How junior is that base? Could one get it right out of training?

Rumor has it most of them are coming back on line in Sept/Nov timeframe. Supposedly the 170s are listed on the American website for some of the routes in November.

Rah is supposed to get more 175's 4th quarter, in support of United ....I believe they still have 24 more that were on order Pre bk. After exiting bk they're s'posed to start coming online....only if, and it is a big if.....they can secure financing. Heard United was willing to help with financing. But that was 5 months ago.

Also for those who are looking for a Houston base looks like we'll have that right after we exit bankruptcy.

The extension of the leases on those aircraft was approved by the court today. I'd imagine there will be an announcement about their return sometime soon.

I did not see any filings for E175's being returned, only the very old E170's which were some of the first off the line/delivered.

Also it's not really shrinking the operation if the planes were not being flown.

We didn't park any 175s from my understanding, just deferred new deliveries.
