Coming up with 44 hours in my case isn't eaxctly the cheapest or easiest thing to do, unless I'm willing to fly night cargo and agree to a 6 or 12 mo committment. I might be able to pick up some right seat time between now and when I reach 1500 but it has yet to materialize. I'm cautiously optimistic this FTI thing might be what Is able to push me over the edge to break into 121.

You only 25 multi on your own. You can count the other 25 in the sim during training.

I know a handful of people and friends who came to interview here with the "fog a mirror" attitude and got the no thanks letter. They are not hiring everyone who walks through the door, and they are not hiring someone that does not have 50 multi.. At the same time they are letting people go if they can't make it in the sim. So my best advice is don't plan on walking in here thinking you will get the job/type rating handed to you because that is not the case.

Very good advice !! I have seen people with the "I am owed this job" attitude that didn't make it through. You still need to be prepared and study for this job. This is not Mesa

Indeed, people need to be accountable and responsible; we are here to do a job, either as a student pilot- ground school and sims or flying pax.

Got a conditional Tuesday with about 1120 Total. Interviewed at Oshkosh with HR and a Captain. Normal HR questions, time, background, so on. Technical was heavy IFR, mins, alternates, brief a approach(Jepp Chart) clearance limits so on. No written until conditional was offered. Written consisted of 20 questions taken from ATP written you get 10 minutes to complete the test. Overall the interview lasted about 30 minutes. HR did talk about the new program to finish the last 100 hours. Also they noted you had to have 1500 hours before you could go to class. I have 39 hours multi and they did not bat a eye. Hope this helps

Just got offered a conditional position today.
I did asked about the 100hr program and it is in lieu of the signing bonus. They will fly you into Chicago then drive you down to the flight school and you will fly 6hrs a day until you reach the mins you need for the RATP/ATP.
Also if you do not have the Written done, they send you to the course in either Orland, Texas or Las Vegas. 7 days with the written on day 8 I believe she said. After that, on day 9 or within the following week, you fly to Indy for Indoc.
165 hours to go...
