You'll be on reserve for awhile. SOC will ensure every single S5 FO will have a line, which will have a ripple affect on the base. That said, expect 4-6 months before a line in EWR after January 31st.

Do you think it'll start dropping after that? Or is reserve going to be around 6 mo indefinitely after January?

Should go back to normal assuming no fleet growth; which we know is not the case. The new planes arriving should mitigate the SOC effect on reserve times in my humble opinion.

I agree with you on this, and also like someone else said this is a short period of surplus, something republic doesn't historically like having. So I see it going back down to thin staffing by late next year.
