I'd imagine new deliveries are only going to help our staffing. Also not being bankrupt lol.

Should reduce upgrade time by a bit.

Can pilots request to be TDY out of base, or is it assigned according to company needs?

After doing some research it looks like Republic seems to be one of the top regional airlines right now. The first/second/third year pay is the best and their QOL just seems more prominent. I do have a few questions though

1) What is the upgrade time? I understand you never chase an upgrade, but it does help to get to a legacy carrier
2) How are the negotiations going for the new pilot contract in 2018? Do you feel that it would be a better contract?
3) How is getting ORD right out of training?
4) Can someone PM me a copy of the current contract so I can read it over?
5) How does non-rev travel work since they're contracted with 3 legacys?

Thanks again and sorry for being a rookie

I think Republic is losing all of the AA flying out of ORD.

For about the fiftieth time on these threads. It's four airplanes. They are being transferred to PHL and MIA. There are still over 100 RAH flts a day in ORD for UAL and DL. It's one of the largest and more senior bases in the system and nothing about the base it changing except no more AA birds "based" there.

To answer the other questions. Look back a few pages for lowest seniority new hire ORD info; upgrades at four years now, should drop this next year as 26 more planes coming on line next year; everyone now has flt benefits on all three legacies, boarding priority lower than a wholly owned generally. Early opener for negotiations isn't until this fall; you can find the contract online with a search.

Not sure if you're trying to be a troll or not, but it's hilarious how people on here blindly comment on subjects they have no clue about. Like gear said, it's only four aircraft and we are not in any way "losing" AA flying. Those four aircraft are simply being transferred to PHL and MIA.
