Anyone take the ATP-CTP course with Republic? I haven't seen the training information yet but know I have to be in IND first, then CVG, then West Lafayette. A break down of what's done where would be nice. And if any days off?
Looks like I won't be coming home after that either since it ends a day before indoc. I'm checking a pretty large bag for sure.
thanks

I used to do 15-20 day trips out of a carryon. Pack 7-8 days worth of clothes, do laundry once a week. It's doable. When I went for indoc lots of guys checked second bags though, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I would hesitate to call it an interview. They will just ask about your background, flying history and why you want to work for Republic. They will then probably schedule an actual interview. If I remember correctly the phone call is less than 10 minutes at the most. The interview/hiring process is very relaxed here in my opinion.

Agreed, it's less an interview and more a review of your application, brief review of your employment history, why you want to leave your current job, and just sort of making sure you're a real person who has some desire to work here. Not really an interview.
For the interview itself, the aviationinterviews site is spot on.

ATP-CTP is only a 10-12 day course depending on what day of the week it starts. One day to get to Indy, 8 days of ground/sim/written and the weekend off which included driving to CVG from IND. The written was on a Friday and we had Sat-Mon off before starting Indoc.
FS in Lafayette is all Helicopters, so maybe a convention is going on in IND and Indoc is being run away from IND?
Baggage is free when you travel space positive for training, but don't bring too much as you will be driving to CVG in a rental. We had a minivan but with six of us, it wasn't a very comfortable 2hr drive.
