I'm planning my next move and I think that an eventual MCI base would work for me. My biggest fear is the long term viability of this base. To my knowledge, MCI hasn't been a stable crew base for any airline long term --- ever.

Is there some current gouge that someone could steer me toward?

Hey guys, military reservist here thinking about joining the regionals. I live 20min from DCA, and would love to be based here. What would be the chances of getting DCA out of training? If there is no chance, how long do you guys think it would take me to move bases?

I'm 11 months in and based in MCI and still not close to holding a line. I know a MCI March 2015 hire and he still cannot consistently hold a line every month. IND will be similar. Cannot speak for ORD.

Took a little less than a week for me last month. Expect a call from the HR folks to set up a class date. What's the rest of the rumor on the IAH base as far as timing?
