Just wait and see. No one knows what will happen. We do a decent amount of flights there but I'm pretty sure we do the same amount at Charlotte and Denver. Yet very little happens at MCI and we still have that base lol.

The market planning info is out for June. There's only 3 RON aircraft scheduled for IAH for June, which has been the same number for the last couple months. To put that into perspective, BTV has more RON aircraft scheduled than IAH with 4. The airport with the highest scheduled RON that is not currently a base is SDF with 6. Obviously RON isn't the only factor in determining a base though since ORD and MIA only have 2 and PHL 0.

In terms of total daily departures, IAH is definitely near the top. For June, IAH is looking at 46 daily weekday departures, while CLT has 29, and DEN with 15. CLT has 1 RON and DEN 0.

For whatever it's worth, out of the top 10 daily departures, IAH and CLT are the only two cities that we don't have a base in.

Thanks for the precise info. I was guessing based on many of the ewr pairings passing through DEN.

I do think though that IAH greatly depends on Mesas situation.

I feel like the only way that would happen is if we literally bought Compass from TSA and merged them under the Airline cert.. Which I doubt would happen anytime soon.

Out of all the carriers out there, I really expect compass to be the next to go if they keep things up. They don't own any of their planes so the only thing we would gain from buying and merging them is the crews as we can already take the fleet as this spring has already shown.

I guess that's true. I forgot that they don't own their own planes..

"We are getting (fill in the blank)'s flying/bases/airplanes"

I thought I stumbled into the Eagle's Lounge.

When negotiating, our MEC could either take QOL improvements or pay improvements. Not both. They took QOL (namely the SAP), knowing that the company would have to raise pay anyways. It payed off.

The 12/4 is a non-issue. New hire FO's are getting paid $40 immediately, along with a $20k sign on bonus and $10k per year retention bonus. We are finishing up the 2007 hires now with the flow, so the 12 isn't an issue at all.

Were you around in 2003 when RAH signed the 4 year FO pay scale ? 12/4 is a non issue now, but it will become the issue when economy slows down or PSA falls from the favorite. Pilots like you should not be the ones that negotiate a contract.

2007 hires are being sent to mainline right ? Guess what, you signed the same deal when Eagle and the rest of us was trying to hold our ground.

You are bunch of idiots and low level scum.
