Sure enough, my recruiter was misinformed. After 4 days of ATP-CTP ground a the training center in Indy, we're now flying the E170 sims at Flight Safety CVG.
What a huge leg up to be able to get time in the sim prior to actually beginning class. If anyone is starting class in the future do your best to reserve an in-house ATP-CTP slot.

Would you guys know if Republic would hire a guy who hasn't flown in 7 years? I do have over 3,000 hours of part 121 SIC in several regional jets and have flown heavies internationally. Also, is there a sign on bonus and how much is it? When is it paid and is there a training contract? Thanks!

Purchase the Sheppard air interview prep. It had every single question on the test I took. Learn how to brief a jepp chart, read a metar and taf, know 91.175. Very nice interview experience. They are not out to trick you, they just want to make sure you are competent and are a good fit.

Be ready for them to ask why you got the boot.
Other than that, the interview experience is great.
