So with the American planes coming out of parking..the 6 compass birds coming online and the 12 new 175s for United any chance of the upgrade time dropping soon here? 4 years seems like a lot.
RAH has 180 airframes 2000 pilots..4 years to upgrade
Endeavor has 130 airframes 1700 pilots. Their junior CA is a July 2016 hire
I'm not sure how that math works, but it seems like everyone's upgrade is dropping quite significantly except for republics...

+1. It is a super relaxed interview. Just make sure you have all of your logbooks and paperwork completed and with you. I know of a few people who didn't bring any of the paperwork and it did not go very smooth (You would think it is common sense). Good Luck!

It has to drop. The way attrition is happening plus the growing fleet will drop it. I've been here over a year and I'm looking at around a year and a half to go based on my monthly seniority movement. Like I said. 45 people left in January who were senior to me. That's a lot. It's usually been between 20-35.
Also consider that a lot of junior people left in 2013, 2014, and early 15. So if you're looking at the junior upgrade, it's going to move faster over the next year.

New hire class is trying to figure out the rules of jump seating internationally. Question was is international jumpseat (in the back only) for travel is allowed? If so are we still charged taxes?
Also with all 3 carriers being available, which ones will move you up if Business or First class are open and how do you go about doing this?
Thanks!
