Eh, how do you mean? The Dash will make you a better pilot for sure seeing that it takes more than flying a jet.

Don't worry about the experience, it's the regulatory needs that you should concentrate on.

We had a few guys in my class that had to use their sim hours toward the 25 hour multi requirement and they did fine and made it on line.

Exactly! It's not like your flying B-25's, at the airline level its about stomping on that pedal and centering the ball and maintaining heading and V2 or greater. They don't design these things to try to kill everyone on an engine out. Well... The Chinese seem to show otherwise...

Have you considered partnering up with someone else to get the remaining hours, ie splitting the cost where one or both of you is a cfi and can both log the time.

Also, most of these regionals have signing bonuses, can that money be used to finance what you need?

Doing what I can to split time, hence the 2k-4.5k range . 2k would be all split time, 4.5k would be all on my own. I'm gonna reach out to piedmont to see if they can't give an advance on that signing bonus towards flight hours

Rjet requires 50 hours of actual multi. Sim time does not count. I interviewed last week.

They also required reading comprehension.

That's not what I was told by John.

That's what was explained to me. I interviewed at a college career fair and not in Indy if that makes a difference. We even broke down the math on how much time I needed and how much time FTI would cover on paper. Who knows
