The NTSB preliminary states that the NTSB did not travel to the site.
And yet local newpapers say they did:

The NTSB, which sent two investigators, found that United/CommutAir flight 4933, a 50-seat Embraer EMB-145XR operating as United Express, landed between one of the airport's two runways and its primary taxiway.

CommutAir's statement read, in part, "the aircraft … landed and slid to the right of the runway. The FAA corroborated, stating, "CommutAir Flight 4933 … landed on Runway 1 and then veered off the runway onto the grass at Northern Maine Regional Airport at Presque Isle at 11:43 a.m. today."

NEWS CENTER Maine was initially told the jet had missed the runway by a city spokesperson, who later sent an update including CommutAir's report.

So why are they trying to hide this from public view? I haven’t given much attention to either incident. What’s the scoop?

So far as allegations by texasbound suggesting that the NTSB has attempted to hide the event from public view, prove it. Unfounded accusations without evidence mean nothing.

I gave you the link. It's contains the name of the lead investigator. How many times have you contacted him or made any effort at all?

Link your evidence showing a conspiracy to conceal the event. Until you do, your unfounded statement is a bald-faced lie. Youv'e already been shown to lie another accident-investigation thread; your trend continues.

I was referring to the aircraft mishap that I posted as OP of this thread, for which I DID link the local paper that said that two NTSB investigators went to THAT scene and rebutted the initial FAA report.

You know, the mishap that this thread is all about?

I do know the mishap at the outset of the thread. My link and response was to texasbound, who has once again used gross ignorance and lies to usurp a thread and turn it into his personal conspiracy forum.

You attempted to do a circle with a simulated marker. Very trumpian. What is it that you're attempting to prove?

You stated that the NTSB is concealing the event. You've failed to show it. You've lied. You've no credibility. None.

So long as you're dedicated to digging your own credibility grave and diving in head first, which part of your conspiracy theory do you think your oblong amoeba-shaped badly drawn circle represents?

For a grand conspiracy, hiding investigative information with a level of secrecy greater than "military operations plans," they're really bad at it. No less than 30 detailed items on that docket.

Sssshhh. Don't tell anybody. It's still a (really badly kept) secret.

Perhaps it's time to refocus on the deep state or who shot JFK, or possibly even chemtrails or bigfoot (who's been hiding him all this time, and what the hell happened to the jacks links?), instead of this idiotic, juvenile cry-conspiracy-everytime-the-wind-blows crap.
