Quote: Air Canada will get the first of 45 firm CS300s in early 2019:

https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/air-canadas-cs300s-could-enable-broad-network-chang-434067/

Meanwhile, other customers include up to 61 orders from a “mystery” European customer, Korean has the first 2 or 3 of 10 firm and 10 optioned CS300s and Egypt Air just ordered 12-20 CS300s.

No doubt many more negotiations are being held with various operators - JetBlue appears very interested in the CS300 with the demo airplane parked in its JFK hanger for several days recently. Once the Airbus-Bombardier/CSeries collaboration is officially approved this summer, watch for many more potential Airbus/CSeries “combo” deals announced at Farnborough.

Quote: This A319 interior below kicks ass compared to that pic above, so, I guess any the CSeries is not FAR superior to ANY narrowbody Airbus.

Brother, why the hate?

No need. Dictionary.com does show arguer. It says it's french. which makes sense. I've been on the french jet to feel as if I am fluent on french.

I may change my picture to celebrate my frenchness. Here are some options I am considering and don't tell me which one you like because I'll argue with you.

I like this one:

This one seems plausible:

This might work, even though he's not french. But he played one in bottle shock and that's good enough.

Don't argue with me. I'll choos.. chos... pick which one I want.

If that program flounder... Founders... Farts around more and the plug is pulled. And we have to get in the back of the line for 320Neos and 737Maxes. #### them french canadians and their wannabe mainline jet with a 717 interior and fuel tanks to nowhere. They're not even real french. [green smile face, hit pic limit]

Quote: Bad interior? Really? The CSeries interior is FAR superior to what you find in any narrowbody Airbus. The bins are bigger, the seats are better (the middle seat in the set of three is wider than the two adjoining seats), the windows are 50% bigger than Airbus windows to provide better lighting and the lavs are redesigned and roomy. Having spoken with numerous SWISS and AirBaltic crews online, their passengers are very happy with the interior and the general innovativeness of the CSeries.

You Bombardier and Airbus fanboys have it all wrong.

If you really want cutting edge design and next level innovation the Comac c919 is really where it’s at. Way better ergonomics, LEAP engines (far more reliable than the geared Pratt’s) and just LOOK at that cockpit:

And seriously, getting the trade case against Boeing dropped was pretty easy, Delta doesn’t go for easy. They embrace a challenge.

Comac or go home!

I wonder where the Chinese "developed" such a modern cockpit.

The A320 cockpit was ahead of its time, but today its past it's prime. All the newly developed clean-sheet cockpits the past 15 years kick its trash. Since most here only see refreshes of old rehashed flight decks, the 320 appears modern in comparison.

The maddog is pretty darn modern to me. I’m still looking for the quarter slot in the Airbus...and wondering how many quarters y’all have to take for a transcon.
