You're not the only one, Docebo app is mediocre at best. Don't hesitate to call IT or Training and ask them to fix it for you. It's their job.

It was a pain but I finished all the CBT’s and can now focus on aircraft systems in preparation for the initial class.

Good job. Focus on the overhead panel and their related systems.

also, if hired and passed training.. what do most do as far as phone service plans, for international overnights?
I purchased a pokefi hotspot. The device is about 180 dollars. But it’s prepaid data recharge as you go. 15 dollars for 5GB of data. Best bang for the buck.

Then cut it off when I get to the room and go on WiFi. My sim partner who was a ex Emirates guy told me about it. Works great.

The T-Mobile $50 a month plan gets the domestic unlimited talk/text/data and one hour free on each flight on AA's inflight wifi system.
You get free texting in most countries, free talk in some
Haven't been to a hotel yet where the T-Mobile WiFi calling was not a good option for free calls.

Have you heard of the Red Triangle systems training materials? I'm not sure if they are still around but they are super informative and helpful. I used it for my initial and I've tried to keep a copy on my computer. The guy that developed and runs it is an airline, or former airline pilot. It's not his primary gig so he is sometimes hard to get a hold of if you need technical assistance. If you can get the program working it's priceless. Here's a link. It's worth a shot. Great prep for the oral. https://redtriangle.com/

It's basically a program where you can roll the curser over any part of the panel (light, switch, indicator, fuse) and a box will pop out and tell you everything about that system. Literally everything. It's almost overload but it's definitely good for reference and studying. And it's not just the overhead either it's everything in the flight deck.

Wifi calling isn't exclusive to Tmobile. I think every carrier has that option and there are a multitude of apps that you can use for pennies per minute. The problem with T-mobile is their service in general sucks unless you're in Germany. You are also limited to 2G speeds for data which is slowwwwww. I agree it's probably the cheapest and seamless service if you can tolerate the terrible call quality when you're domestic (especially indoors). Can you hear me now?

I’ll check it out. Thank you kindly.

Works great indoors everywhere I go..and get wx, flt plans etc all over the world. Use WhatsApp in Germany, SA, UK while in the street to call home with no problems, at time the 2g is slow but always works. About 50% of crews have it, the others almost all have ATT and pay 10$ a day extra, adds up on a 5 or 6 day international trip.
