Have you heard of the Red Triangle systems training materials? I'm not sure if they are still around but they are super informative and helpful. I used it for my initial and I've tried to keep a copy on my computer. The guy that developed and runs it is an airline, or former airline pilot. It's not his primary gig so he is sometimes hard to get a hold of if you need technical assistance. If you can get the program working it's priceless. Here's a link. It's worth a shot. Great prep for the oral. https://redtriangle.com/
It's basically a program where you can roll the curser over any part of the panel (light, switch, indicator, fuse) and a box will pop out and tell you everything about that system. Literally everything. It's almost overload but it's definitely good for reference and studying. And it's not just the overhead either it's everything in the flight deck.

Wifi calling isn't exclusive to Tmobile. I think every carrier has that option and there are a multitude of apps that you can use for pennies per minute. The problem with T-mobile is their service in general sucks unless you're in Germany. You are also limited to 2G speeds for data which is slowwwwww. I agree it's probably the cheapest and seamless service if you can tolerate the terrible call quality when you're domestic (especially indoors). Can you hear me now?

At home? Sometimes. Depends on how far you live from a gateway, especially one that we fly into and out of often (BWI, AFW, SEA).
Overtime? Volunteer requests are going out weekly at the moment. Of course this is subject to change.

Should be a few more classes to be filled for the 767. They say the 777 is close to staffed right with this latest class. We’re averaging 1 leaving each week. Hired 5 yesterday, interviewed 4 today.
Management wants Omni to be a destination airline for pilots. We’ll see how that plays out at the bargaining table.

I think currently it's as soon as you can get here. In essence anyway, depending on the class dates, background checks and any other contingent requirements. But there really isn't a "pool" so to speak. So when they offer you the job usually they'll offer you the next class date if there's a spot. Also there's a grip of home study crap that needs to be completed. Takes a good 2 weeks to get through. One of our new hires can undoubtedly give you a better idea than me.
Welcome on board! If that's what's happening.
